In May 2022, John and Jeanne were honored by both the Worcester Business Journal and the United Way of Central Massachusetts.

The Eslers were chosen by the Worcester Business Journal to be part of their “Power 50: Most Influential People” for their philanthropic efforts and were recognized with the Alexis deTocqueville Award from the United Way.

The Eslers’ giving in Central Massachusetts has included Entrepreneurship for All initiative, known as EforAll, to guidance and funding for would-be entrepreneurs; Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition, in order for the Worcester-based organization to bring on a president and CEO; the gifting of a study to the City of Worcester on how to improve property tax; and other undisclosed sums to organizations like Worcester Together, United Way of Central Massachusetts, Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, Worcester Educational Collaborative, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, and the Community Harvest Project.
