Executive Director

I am a firm believer in finding purpose.

My career journey began with an initial dream of working in corporate America and a first professional job in a public accounting firm, but a period of intentional reflection led me to pivot toward a service opportunity as an AmeriCorps VISTA, an experience that opened my eyes to a career path in the non-profit sector and ignited a lifelong commitment to seeking purposeful work. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, I made the decision to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree from Clark University, with a focus on Non-Profit Management.

Over the next several decades, I served community and educational organizations in a variety of volunteer, staff, and leadership roles including as Consultant, Executive Director, and Board President. Across all roles and experiences, my work centered on building the capacity of both individuals and institutions through strategic planning, program and partnership development, fundraising, and community engagement.

In 2024, I was invited by John and Jeanne Esler to bring this perspective to the Esler Family Foundation as its Executive Director. Working alongside the Eslers to partner with transformative non-profits—both locally and globally—is a profound honor. As liaison to our funding partners, I am inspired every day by the individuals doing purposeful work that changes lives. 

Recently, my Catholic faith has been the impetus for deeper contemplation on purpose viewed through the lens of humility—a trait undervalued in modern culture, yet vital to living in right relationship with one another. My hope is that this perspective guides our approach to philanthropy – recognizing that we are one part of a larger ecosystem, placing deep trust in the leaders who know their communities best, and honoring the dignity and contributions of all.

I live in Massachusetts with my husband and am thrilled to have our two adult sons living close by.
