Executive Director

Kristin Bafaro is an accomplished nonprofit leader who is thrilled to be working with the Eslers and loves to make connections and learn from partner organizations and the individuals they serve.

Prior to working for the Esler Family Foundation, she had over 15 years of experience working in and with nonprofit and community organizations, serving in a variety of roles, including Consultant, Executive Director, and President of the Board of Directors. Her experience includes strategic planning, program and partnership development, fundraising and resource development, and communications and community relations – focusing on capacity building of individuals and organizations. She brings this perspective and priority to her work with the Esler Family Foundation.

Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Clark University.
