Esler Family Foundation was proud to provide funding leadership for the United Response Fund in addressing urgent community needs in Central Massachusetts by providing a $200,000 matching gift to inspire others to join this effort.
“Through our foundation, we focus on healing minds and strengthening spirits, but we know that kind of work only happens when people’s basic needs are met,” said John Esler.
Launched in late summer 2025 with a $500,000 seed investment from the United Way of Central Massachusetts, the United Response Fund was designed to provide immediate relief, support long-term recovery, and strengthen local resilience in the face of crises, disasters, and emergencies.
